BBC Breakfast star makes candid marriage confession unveiling 'strict home rule'

BBC Breakfast's Nina Warhurst is typically tight-lipped about her personal life, but she did reveal that her husband has a firm rule regarding her work. On Sunday (October 27), Nina and co-host Roger Johnson were discussing marriage and the behaviours that contribute to enduring relationships, referencing Harry and Sandra Redknapp's perspective.

The conversation was sparked by Harry's recent candid confession in a interview, where he stated that he avoids discussing football and work with Sandra, as she isn't interested. , Get Me Out Of Here! champion Harry firmly believes that maintaining a separation between his professional and family life has been key to his long-lasting marriage to Sandra.

Roger chuckled as Nina shared details of her domestic life, agreeing that she and her husband follow a similar set of rules.

As they perused the Sunday papers, Roger pointed out a photo of Harry and Sandra Redknapp, who viewers got to know during Harry's stint on I'm A Celebrity. He summarised Harry's advice from the article: "My secret to a happy marriage, never talk about football," reports .

Nina couldn't help but laugh as Roger added: "I have to say I've been to their house to interview them a couple of times and what a lovely couple."

Nina chimed in, agreeing: "Yes I've met him he's a really nice bloke isn't he," and then touched on his thoughts on discussing work at home: "I think lots of partners would say 'just don't talk about work'." The presenter admitted with a hint of humour: "Certainly my husband would."

After a brief revelation about her personal life, Nina swiftly switched topics to the next newspaper feature. The broadcaster is wed to the man behind Fed By Ted, Ted Fraser, whom she encountered during an impromptu getaway and before long, they exchanged vows just one year later.

Despite tying the knot back in 2014, Nina and Ted's whirlwind romance began only the year before during an enchanting hiatus in Croatia, leading to a quick walk down the aisle. The joyful duo is now raising three little ones; their first son, Digby, Michael who entered the scene in 2018, and their darling daughter Nancy who made her debut two years past.

Although Nina and her hubby Ted are not the type to parade their relationship in the public eye, she has occasionally given glimpses into their domestic bliss via posts.

In commemoration of Ted's significant 40th birthday not so long ago, Nina graced the social media with a heartfelt tribute, posting an adorable series of photos captioned: "You are my favourite."
