Billy Bob Thornton became a hot topic moments into his appearance on The One Show as fans claimed the actor looked drastically different.

On Thursday's episode, Thornton sat down with hosts alongside Jon Hamm to chat about their latest TV venture, where they'll light up screens in the upcoming series titled Landman.

During their talk with presenters Alex Jones and Clara Amfo before the show's launch, Billy delved into his character's intricate challenges, reports .

Catching a glance at Hamm, Billy elaborated: "My character is there to make money for him so there is a lot of pressure to make sure all that comes off, in a very dangerous so he has the weight of the world on his shoulders."

Additionally, Billy remarked: "Tommy has a scene of humour thank goodness but there is a lot of pressure all the time and this is about how you get the oil off the ground but it's also about how it affects all the people around you."
