The frail pensioners' voices were too weak to call their neighbours for help,
The man's death was only discovered after neighbours noticed a strong smell coming from the house in Hyderabad, and called the police.

Police believe Pramod died in his sleep four days earlier after he served food to his parents according to local reports.
Police officer Surya Nayak said: "Their voices were feeble, which likely prevented neighbours from hearing their calls. We suspect that Pramod died in his sleep. The exact cause of death would be known only after the post-morten examination."
According to Hindustan Times, police said Pramod struggled with alcoholism and his wife had left him with their two daughters.
The man' body was sent to a hospital for a post-mortem to confirm the date and cause of death.
Police said the pair are now living with their older son Pradeep, who lives in another part of the city, and are receiving the necessary support.
