Brassic season 6 cast - Everything to know about the star-studded cast

Send Push

Brassic season six is nearly upon us but who stars in the hit Sky comedy-drama?

It's been a year since we last saw Vinnie (played by Joseph Gilgun), Erin (Michelle Keegan) and the rest of the loveable rogues on Sky Max, but they're now ready to make their return.

This time, they're on a mission to find the original 1895 FA Cup trophy, which has been nicked from the attic of a seasoned criminal. But who's got the guts to steal it?

Who's in the Brassic season 6 cast? Vinnie - Joseph Gilgun

Brassic just wouldn't be the same without gang leader Vinnie, the mastermind behind their many "creative enterprises" in the fictional town of Hawley.

He's played by actor and co-creator of the show, Joseph Gilgun, who you might also recognise as Eli Dingle from Emmerdale, Marcus from Hollyoaks, or Woody from the This Is England series.

Erin - Michelle Keegan

Joining him once again is actress Michelle Keegan, who first shot to fame as Tina McIntyre in Coronation Street before moving on to play Georgie Lane in BBC's Our Girl.

Keegan plays Erin, Vinnie's on-off love interest who's been in Brassic since the very first season.

Tommo - Ryan Sampson

Another key member of the gang is "entrepreneur" Tommo, Vinnie's right-hand man when it comes to business matters.

He's portrayed by actor Ryan Sampson, who previously played Alex Venables in After You've Gone and Grumio in Plebs.

Most recently, Sampson starred alongside Danny Dyer in the sitcom Mr Bigstuff.

Cardi - Tom Hanson

The role of lookout Cardi will be reprised by actor Tom Hanson, known for his appearances in The Moorside, Murder On The Orient Express, Silent Witness, and The Little Drummer Girl.

Hanson has also starred in all three seasons of the BBC comedy The Outlaws as Spencer.

Carole - Bronagh Gallagher

Cardi's formidable wife Carole is portrayed by Irish actress Bronagh Gallagher, who gained fame for her role as Bernie McGloughlin in the 1991 film The Commitments.

Ashley - Aaron Heffernan

Fellow Irish star Aaron Heffernan, who has appeared in War Of The Worlds, Obsession: Dark Desires, and Love/Hate, returns as Ashley, the "muscles" of the gang.

JJ - Parth Thakerar

Actor Parth Thakerar reprises his role as mechanic JJ, whose life outside the gang becomes increasingly complicated in season six. Thakerar has previously appeared in Vigil, Nightsleeper, The Weekend Away, Suspicion, and Starstruck.

JJ's partner Sugar, played by actress Joanna Higson, is back and adjusting to life as a mother, but her coping mechanisms will be put to the test. Higson is best known for her role as Maxine Donnelly in Shameless.

JJ's cousin Meena, played by actress Bhavna Limbachia, will also be present. Limbachia is recognizable to Coronation Street fans for her role as Rana Habeeb.

Foul-mouthed farmer Jim returns for season six, played by actor Steve Evets, who first gained recognition in Looking For Eric and later appeared in Summer, The Facility, and Rev.

Brassic season six premieres on Thursday, September 26, at 9pm on Sky Max.
