Elon Musk's attempt to impress people with his has backfired - seeing him after being ruthlessly trolled during a livestream from his private jet. The showed himself playing Path of Exile 2 on his plane when he went live on X on Saturday to demonstrate the capabilities of Starlink - his satellite internet service.
However, Musk had unwittingly entered a bear pit when fellow gamers realised who was playing. The world's richest man found himself being brutally bullied by gamers across the globe, with some stinging personal swipes. One wrote, "You have no real friends and will die alone," while another said: "You ruined the country just like you ruined all your marriages."
"Elon how is it possible to look this dumb and ugly why is ur Tesla company falling apart," one gamer asked. One individual pretended to be Ashley St Clair, the MAGA influencer, who recently spilled that Musk had fathered her child.

"Elon. It's me, Ashley St Claire. I have no other means of contacting you so I bought PoE2 early access just for this. Please pay your child support. Thank you Elon," a message that popped up continuously read.
Trying to regain control, Musk started with a threat which he realised he'd not be able to carry out. He said, "Anyone spamming the chat will get uhhh," as he clicked an ignore button on the messages.
Musk's estranged daughter Vivian Wilson recently said her dad was "god awful" at in an interview with Twitch streamer Hasan Piker last month. Many of the gamers said they think she was right. Looking back on her childhood, she said that she and her twin brother would "carry" their dad through Overwatch. “I can expose something that I think is really f------ funny,” Wilson said. “He would try to constantly get us to play ranked with him, and I’m 90% sure it was just because we could carry him.”
The tycoon often brags about his gaming prowess on his platform, claiming that he's one of the top players in a number of online games. He has previously said gaming makes him "concentrate", and even said it has mental health benefits, as "killing the demons in a video game calms the demons" in his mind.
After he was accused of paying someone to boost his accounts, his daughter weighed in on the allegations, saying: "I don't believe the f----- 'I am a pro Path of Exile whatever the fuck.' No the f--- you are not. This is so cringe. Why would you even pretend to be—it's fine not to be a gamer."
Some people missed the live ridicule, but took to Twitter to continue jabs at the DOGE chief. One said: "Claiming 'oh I lost the connection', while you can hear his connection perfectly, and seamlessly goes and exits the game. He will blame his STARLINK connection before he will acknowledge he sucks at video games"
"It’s actually impressive how the wealthiest man in the can be such a pathetic loser in every area of his life," a second said. "He’s literally a 53 year old man baby, embarrassing," another commented.
