A man who was pronounced medically dead three times following a terrifying at just eight years old has described what he saw in ''.
Landon Kemp, from Charlotte, North Carolina, was seriously injured when the car he was travelling in collided with an ambulance on October 19, 1997. The Pontiac Sunfire carrying Kemp and his parents Andy and Julie, returning from church, was smashed hit in the side of the vehicle.
Andy tragically died in the crash, while eight-year-old Landon had to be resuscitated three times - once at the scene, again in the ambulance on the way to the and a final time at the Carolina's Medical Center. Landon has since said he believes he visited heaven on each occasion, and was able to speak to his father one last time.

In a YouTube interview with the Christian Broadcasting Network, his mum Julie - who suffered broken ribs, a collapsed lung and a concussion - said doctors told her Landon would likely be left as an "eight-year-old baby", with limited capabilities and heavily dependent on round-the-clock care.
But after being in a coma for a fortnight, Kemp opened his eyes and, to the astonishment of doctors, showed no signs of brain damage.
A short time later, his mother broke the news about his father's death. She said: "I didn't want to hurt him anymore. So I asked him, Landon, do you know where your Dad is at? " she remembered. And he told me, 'Yes I know where he's at - I saw him in heaven."
Now aged 35, Kemp also claimed to have seen other deceased individuals, including his two unborn siblings and Jesus Christ. Describing his experiences on the night of the accident: "I remember being able to see my dad and his friend Olan Palmer who had passed away less than a month before he did, also in a car accident," and added, "And Olan's son, Neal Palmer, who had died on a four-wheeler years before."
He described a meaningful silence on this occasion, where "no one spoke but that they all stood around each other until he was revived." He added: "Just being in heaven, I guess you know your own or you know who everyone is."
He even encountered two unknown individuals, and instinctively recognised them as kin despite not knowing who they were.
Julie, his mother, said: "He looked over to me and he said 'Oh mum by the way I forgot to tell you I saw your other two kids'.". She was initially confused: "I just looked at him because I wasn't sure what he was talking about." She later disclosed that she had two miscarriages prior to Kemp's birth, which she had discussed with him.
Landon said: "I knew that they were my siblings even though no one had ever told me about them," and reiterated the celestial familiarity, "Just being in heaven, I guess you know your own or you know who everyone is." On his third visit to the afterlife, Kemp claims he received a divine mission from Jesus himself, who "instructed him to return to Earth to 'be a good Christian and tell others about him'".
