Love Island star hospitalised but not ready to reveal why as she confirms surgery needed

A former Love Island star has revealed they have been in hospital for surgery, but told fans not to worry.

Former favourite took to to update her followers on her condition and told them she might be quiet for a short time. However, while saying it's "no drama", she admitted she isn't ready to explain why she needed an operation

Taking to her Stories, Olivia uploaded an image of herself in a hospital bed. Wearing a gown and with a light blow blanket, she pouted and flashed the piece sign to show her followers she was okay. She captioned the image: "I may be a wee quiet on my socials over the next week or so. I had minor surgery (not cosmetic)."

She continued: "I'm absolutely fine so please don't worry about me. I know what you guys are like you're so kind. It's no drama but I'm just not ready to talk about it. xxxx"

She shared a follow-up image with her three million followers to say she was bored as she appeared to remain in hospital. The image showed her with her hand on her face seeming to contemplate what to do. She wrote: "I can't deal with sitting here I'm so bored already," alongside a laughing face emoji.

"I've just made three clothes orders on Zara Anthropologie & Asos. Ffs." She again added a string of crying with laughter emojis before joking: "Talk about retail therapy."

Olivia appeared on the second series of ITV's dating show. There, she met husband Alex. The duo welcomed their first child, Abel, in June 2022.

Speaking of becoming a mum to , she "When you’ve had a child, you don’t know if it’s going to make it [anxiety] better or worse. At first, it made it better, then it made it worse. It’s a bit of a whirlwind. Has it made me think seriously about having another child? I mean, I think I would struggle again."

In August, she told the about how with the help of forceps in the 30-hour labour. She confessed it wasn't what she had planned. Speaking at the , she said: "I had a bit of a traumatic birth with Abel, which I think so many women have experienced and I just put a lot of pressure on myself to just do it ‘correctly’, whatever that means. I always thought, ‘Oh, I'll give birth this way naturally without any drugs.’ And I ended up having an epidural and it just wasn't the nicest experience.

"I had an episiotomy as well, which means they cut you and it just wasn't a nice experience to have. It was very long, and I'm worried to go through that again and feel the disappointment that I felt in myself in the first place. So me and Alex, talk about it sometimes and it would never put me off because I'd love to have another child one day but I think it is something that will be in the back of my mind. You can have an elective C-section which might be something that I choose to do if it saves me the anxiety."

Olivia, who lives with her husband in an Essex mansion, regularly shares updates about her life and her home.
