Manchester City are reportedly set to learn their fate regarding alleged breaches of financial rules sooner than expected.

Since September, have been involved in a hearing with an independent panel over what was initially believed to be 115 breaches of historic financial rules. The club was charged in February 2023 for alleged actions between 2009 and 2018.

While it was initially expected that City would have to wait until 2025 for a decision from the Premier League's panel, their supporters have been cautioned not to take the Blues' victory on APT as a sign they will avoid sanctions, given that the two cases are being handled independently.
