Aidan Turner, the Poldark sensation, is once again causing a stir with his latest role in the '80s-themed drama Rivals, which premiered on Disney+ last week.
The show has quickly become a hot topic, notorious for its steamy scenes and a generous dose of risque moments from the outset.
With Turner taking on the role of TV presenter Declan O'Hara, it's no surprise that viewers are keenly interested in his romantic past.
Lenora CrichlowFans of Aidan Turner who have been following his career since the beginning will recall his early days on the supernatural Three series Being Human, where he played vampire Mitchell.
It was during the filming of this 2009 show that he met Lenora Crichlow, his co-star at the time.
They dated for two years before parting ways, which coincided with Turner's departure from the series.

While Turner went on to star in big hits like The Hobbit and Poldark, Crichlow has made her mark in shows such as , Deception, Avenue 5, and Bel-Air.
Sarah GreeneAnother notable relationship was with Irish actress Sarah Greene, known for her work in Penny Dreadful, Bad Sisters, Sexy Beast, Ransom, Normal People, and Dublin Murders.
Reflecting on their connection, Turner shared with the Irish Weekend Magazine in 2013: "I did a play with her about eight years ago Titus Andronicus, directed by Selina Cartmell.
"I played Demetrius, her character wasn't a named character but we met on that.
"It was all very platonic and we never hooked up or anything, but that's how we got to know each other. And then years later we just met again and it just sort of took off."
After a five-year romance, Turner and Greene went their separate ways, keeping the reasons for their break up under wraps.
Nettie WakefieldThe star of Poldark then entered into a relationship with artist Nettie Wakefield, which lasted six months before ending in June 2017.
A source revealed to The Sun that the couple's hectic schedules led to their separation, but it was a friendly split.
Caitlin FitzgeraldIn 2017, Turner crossed paths with his future wife, actress Caitlin Fitzgerald, while they were both working on the film The Man Who Killed Hitler and Then The Bigfoot In Massachusetts.
Their romance blossomed the following year, culminating in a secret Italian wedding ceremony in 2021.
An insider shared with The Sun: "The couple are both madly in love and couldn't wait to get hitched when their schedules allowed.
"They're both very private and have kept the ceremony very much under wraps, but he has been seen taking lockdown walks with his wedding ring on show.
"Aidan hasn't been in a rush to get wed and has very much been waiting for 'The One' to come along - and anyone who sees them knows they're the perfect match."
In 2022, Turner and Fitzgerald, known for her roles in Masters Of Sex, Sweetbitter and Succession, became parents to a baby boy, whose name they have chosen to keep private.
In a previous interview with the Irish Independent, Turner spoke candidly about striking a balance between his career and family life, particularly with regards to raising his young son.
He admitted: "It's become a little easier to work as he's got a little older, but juggling that life, it's hard.
"Life is definitely very different to what it was before."
