Stacey Solomon reveals the one state she'll never film her kids in and publicly share

As a social media savvy mum, Stacey Solomon delights her 6 million Instagram fans with family life insights, cherishing every moment she shares online.

The mum-of-five, 34, has now disclosed that despite being open, she has strict boundaries, especially about posting children's tantrums.

Being a busy mother to Zachary, Leighton, Rex, Rose and Belle, the much-loved TV star stands firm on not publicising negative aspects of their lives. Stacey asserted: "I get asked a lot on Instagram [about tough times with the kids]. People will say, 'Your kids always look so happy and are never throwing tantrums.' But for me, I just don't feel that is information I should ever be putting out there about my kids everyone has good days and bad days."

She envisions her kids looking back on a past filled only with joyous moments: "I would much rather them look back at our lives, and all that we've made public are happy memories. I don't want them to look back and be like, 'Wow, I was having such a bad day then,'" she told OK! Magazine.

Stacey also reminisced about the happy recollections captured by her father, who refrained from filming less flattering episodes: "I think about my childhood and my dad always had a video camera, so I've got amazing memories and clips of my growing up. There are so many happy moments. He never filmed me having a paddy in the middle of Asda."

In view of her recent sun-drenched getaway to Turkey with hubby Joe and the kiddos, Stacey was probed about any possible challenging times. She shared her insightful understanding into her perspective on parenting during holidays.

"I'm sure there were days the children were tired and difficult, but they're good kids and we're extremely privileged. We went on a nice holiday and I didn't have to cook dinner or clean the house for two weeks, so any tough day was nowhere near as tough as it would have been at home with all of the life stresses you have."

After their plush break, Stacey has - regrettably - returned to the daily grind of cooking and cleaning. Teaming up with cleaning giant Reckitt Benckiser, Stacey divulged her number one tip for keeping a spotless home.

She shared: "My top cleaning tip would be, 'Don't set yourself unachievable goals', especially if you've got a busy household like I do. We've got five kids and two dogs so the likelihood is I'll clean and it will be dirty 10 seconds later. You need to choose a level of 'clean' you're happy with, that is achievable to maintain. I also love products like Vanish. Having a good whitener is so important because I buy the kids white socks and shoes and they come back black straight away."
