The 17 Chelsea players confirmed for international duty as Enzo Maresca dealt four injury scares

Enzo Maresca will have a smaller group than usual at Cobham for the next week or so with many Chelsea stars away on international duty. Since the last two-week pause, the Blues have endured mixed fortunes with mostly positive Premier League and Conference League results coming at the expense of being eliminated from the Carabao Cup.

A 1-1 draw against Arsenal closed out the latest set of results for Chelsea with two defeats, three wins and another stalemate coming before that.

England

Noni Madueke will be the only Chelsea star representing England after both Levi Cowill and Cole Palmer departed the Three Lions' camp. Palmer had been a major injury doubt in the lead up to the Premier League clash against Arsenal, but both he and Colwill, played the full 90 minutes.

The duo will now return to Cobham training ground with Madueke likely hopeful of minutes against Ireland and Greece especially with Bukayo Saka also pulling out.

Portugal

Renato Veiga, Pedro Neto and Joao Felix will all be with Portugal over the two-week pause for Nations League games against Croatia and Poland. Veiga made his senior debut against the latter during the last international break.

Neto, meanwhile, will be hoping to carry over momentum built after scoring a hugely-decisive goal for Chelsea against Arsenal.

France

Christopher Nkunku and Wesley Fofana look set to represent Didier Deschamps' France for games against Israel and Italy. However there is doubt over the latter with reports from journalist , claiming Fofana is more likely to remain in London for the international break.

Spain

For Nations League encounters with Denmark and Switzerland, Robert Sanchez and Marc Cucurella will hope to play for Spain having again been called up to Luis de la Fuente's squad.

Ukraine

Mykhailo Mudryk will also be hoping to make an impact for Ukraine with his nation in danger of being relegated from their Nations League group unless they beat one of Georgia and Albania, while also hoping results go their way elsewhere.

Belgium

For the first time in over 18 months, Romeo Lavia has been called up to the Belgium senior squad having impressed for Chelsea since his return from injury. Domenico Tedesco's side are set to face Italy and Israel in Nations League action.

However, the midfielder appeared to leave the weekend's clash because of an injury, so he may yet remain at Chelsea.

Argentina

Enzo Fernandez will be back on his travels over the next two weeks with Argentina playing Paraguay and Peru in South America. The second of those games is not until the early hours of Wednesday morning UK time with it therefore possible he only has one training session before the Blues face Leicester.

Ecuador

While not confirmed as of yet, Moises Caicedo looks set to be joined by soon-to-be Chelsea star Kendry Paez on Ecuador duty for World Cup qualifiers against Colombia and Bolivia.

Cesare Casadei will likely come up against Gusto over the next two weeks with one of Italy's Under-21 games against France and the other against Ukraine.

Spain Under-19s

Marc Guiu meanwhile, will have the chance to play in three games as Spain Under-19s face the Faroe Islands, Kosovo and Austria.
