Ukraine Kamikaze drone strike may have hit Putin's Satan-2 horror weapon

An overnight kamikaze drone strike may have hit a “secret” silo facility housing Vladimir Putin’s largest missile - the nuclear-capable doomsday rocket Satan-2, it was reported today.

The attack triggered a mass exodus of local residents fearful their district would be reduced to dust, according to Telegram channel VChK-OGPU. A giant explosion was seen at Oktyabrsky, close to Toropets, in Tver region after the Ukrainian strike deep inside Russia.

At first the hit was described as a key Russian missile and ammunition arsenal, at the 23rd GRAU arsenal, one of three hit in three days, with claims it stored S-300 anti-aircraft missile systems.

There was a virtual information blackout from the authorities on this strike, and another which exploded at Tikhoretsk, in Krasnodar region, destroying an arsenal containing vast quantities of munitions supplied to Putin by Kim Jong Un for use in the Kremlin dictator's bombardment of Ukraine.

‌But the independent Telegram channel VChK-OGPU - with sources in the Russian security services - said that in Tver region the Ukrainians struck a “secret facility” housing a 208-ton “unstoppable” Satan-2 intercontinental missile, as large as a 14 storey tower block.

However, there has been no independent confirmation of the claim, or any hard evidence that Satan-2 has been stored here.

“The UAVs hit a secret object near Toropets in the village of Oktyabrsky. The missiles that may be stored there, if detonated, will reduce to dust tens of kilometres [miles] in the area,” said the channel.

A facility here “is surrounded by a fence, it is secret. “It is located between Toropets and Staraya Toropa, where residents were evacuated when a warehouse was destroyed in Toropets [on Wednesday]….

‌“Those who have been there say that the silos are missile silos, where the airlocks are, like in a bunker. In May of this year, a drone fell there, the military said then that if it had exploded, everything around it would have been blown away for 30 kilometres.

“They say that a Satan missile is on combat duty there. A broken-down railway runs through the unit, which is not marked on the map. It seems that our and North Korean missiles were driven along it to the warehouse and back."

‌The servicemen here are from Strategic Missile Forces, according to the report. The channel revealed a picture of a railway truck loaded with missiles near the site.

‌“Explosions began at night and are heard right now,” said the channel. “Enormous mushrooms are rising from the ground, doors in Staraya Torop [close to the secret facility] are shaking.

‌“Some of the soldiers escaped at night, abandoning the cars they had arrived in for duty. Everything is burning.”

‌It went on: “Local residents tell the VChK-OGPU that if the disaster with the explosions at the military unit in Oktyabrskoye….is of the same scale as in Toropets [ten miles away on Wednesday], where a large weapons depot was recently destroyed as a result of a drone attack, then an ecological catastrophe could happen in the area.

‌“Opposite the attacked unit there is a [plastics] manufacturing plant. The interlocutors fear that due to the detonation of ammunition on the unit's territory, the fire could spread to the production facility.

“The chemicals stored in the enterprise's warehouse are enough to pollute the entire area.”

In the wake of this morning’s strike, a major highway was closed for a stretch of around 60 miles, but was later re-opened. There was also rail disruption with Staraya Toropa station evacuated.

‌Satan-2 has only been deployed in the past year, according to reports, despite an apparent lack of successful tests. The monster hypersonic missile is designed to strike the West by flying over the North or South Poles, making it impossible to strike down by air defences.

The Sarmat-Satan-2 complex is due to replace the Voevoda - or Satan - missile which has been in service since the 1980s. Another missile strike today Tikhoretsk, in Krasnodar region, hit an arsenal containing vast quantities of munitions supplied to Putin by Kim Jong Un for use in the Kremlin dictator's bombardment of Ukraine.

‌The images from this were more spectacular. Pro-Putin political analyst Sergey Markov wrote on his Telegram channel:

“Was there a Ukrainian UAV strike on Satan nuclear missiles last night?‌

“It is impossible to say for sure. There are no statements from the Russian authorities.

‌"There are no statements from pro-Russian Russian media either.‌ All statements about a strike on the nuclear missiles of the Russian army are coming so far only from those resources that are under the control of Russia's opponents.

"‌But there was a cessation of traffic on the roads in that area.‌ [Ukrainian leader Volodymyr] Zelensky’s goal remains the same: to show Washington, the West, NATO that the Kremlin has no serious red lines and can safely strike Russia wherever and however it wants."
