WWE icon Ric Flair's stepson dies aged 24 as mum pays heartbreaking tribute

WWE legend Ric Flair's stepson has died aged 24, with his mother paying an emotional tribute.

The 75-year-old of all time, having enjoyed a career spanning 50 years. He , his fifth wife, in 2018, becoming the step father of her son Sebastian.

The family are now in mourning though after Sebastian was found dead in the USA state of Georgia on Saturday afternoon. Police are investigating.

Wendy paid an emotional tribute to her late son. She told TMZ: "I am devastated and shocked. This is an epidemic with your young men. And mental health."

She later added on : "There are no words to express the pain I am feeling from the loss of my Baby @sebastianonthemic. Mommy Loves you."

Flair recently congratulated Sebastian after the release of his first album. He wrote: "Congratulations On The Release Of Your First Album- Under The Moon! I Am So Proud Of You! WOOOOO! Available On All Streaming Platforms!"

Sebastian grew up with his stepdad and shared that he received "a lot of advice" from him on handling fame. He added that fans would frequently approach the family during meals, eager to get autographs from legend.

Flair recently announced that he has split from Wendy after six years of marriage. The 16-time WWE champion and Hall of Famer shared an emotional statement and insisted the separation was an amicable one.

He said: "Wendy and I enjoyed 13 great years. As with every couple, we have experienced our ups and downs. [But] I think it's important for everyone to know right now that we have decided to part ways respectfully.

"I'll never be able to thank her enough for standing by my side through my terrible health crisis in 2018. She never left my side! And for that I will always be grateful!

"We both are working on different projects at the current time and it becomes difficult with my schedule and her schedule to make this work. I wish her the best of luck with her projects and I know that she supports mine."

Flair is yet to comment on Sebastian's death. Sebastian's passing comes 11 years after Flair's biological son Reid died from a drug overdose.
