BPSSC SI Recruitment 2025: Bihar Police Subordinate Services Commission (BPSSC) has announced recruitment for 33 posts of Enforcement Sub Inspector for the Transport Department. Interested and eligible candidates can apply on website from 30 May 2025. The last date to apply is 30 June 2025. This recruitment process will be done in four phases, including prelims exam, mains exam, physical test, and interview.

Important things related to recruitment
The age limit of the candidates for the post has been kept from 21 to 37 years for men of unreserved category and 20 to 40 years for women. At the same time, the age limit for men and women for backward and extremely backward classes is from 21 to 40 years. The age limit for Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes has been fixed from 21 to 42 years.

The selection process will have three main stages: Preliminary Written Test, Main Written Test, and Physical Test. All questions in the written exam will be multiple choice and candidates securing less than 30% marks in the preliminary exam will be considered unsuccessful for the main exam. 0.2 marks will be deducted for wrong answers in both the written exams.

In the physical standard, the height has been fixed at 165 cm for men and 150 cm for women. The chest measurement for men should be 79 cm without inflation and 84 cm with inflation. There is no chest standard for women. In the physical efficiency test, men will have to walk 25 km and women will have to walk 14 km in 4 hours.

In the final result of the recruitment, the merit list will be prepared based on marks obtained in the main written exam and interview. Only passing the physical test will be necessary.

As an application fee, Rs 700 will be charged from backward and extremely backward-class men of Bihar and candidates from outside the state and Rs 400 from Scheduled Caste and Tribe candidates.
