16-hour water supply cut in Delhi's Rohini on November 11: Check timings, affected areas

Send Push
Residents in various parts of Rohini, Delhi, will face a 16-hour water supply disruption on November 11, according to a recent announcement by the Delhi Jal Board (DJB). The interruption is scheduled to start at 10 a.m. and is due to planned installation work for a new flow metre.

In a statement, the DJB explained, “Installation of a flow metre on the 700 mm diameter outlet line of the Rohini Sector-7 Booster Pumping Station is set to begin on November 11 at 10 a.m., lasting approximately 16 hours.”

With water flow halted for this duration, residents of impacted areas, including Rohini Sector-6, Sector-7, Sector-8, and nearby locations, are advised to use water sparingly. The DJB expects normal water service to resume by November 12, though low pressure may persist for some residents during the early hours.

For those needing additional water during this period, water tankers will be available through requests made via the DJB helpline or the central control room.

Residents are encouraged to prepare accordingly and to use water thoughtfully while the repairs are underway.
