Send Push
The iPhone 17 series has been the subject of intense speculation, leaks, and rumours in recent months. Fans have been eagerly waiting for Apple’s official announcement, and it seems the wait may be nearly over. An accidental post on the Apple TV app revealed the iPhone 17 launch date, only for Apple to quickly remove it.

The post highlighted September 9, 2025, a date that aligns with earlier expectations. According to a tipster known as Apple Leaker on X, formerly Twitter, the post consisted of an Apple event invite with a glowing Apple logo on a purple background, reminiscent of MacBook Air wallpapers. The leak may now have confirmed the event date ahead of Apple’s official announcement.

What to expect from the September event
The main focus of Apple’s September event is expected to be the new iPhone 17 series. Reports suggest the lineup will include four models: the iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Air, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max. All four devices are expected to feature the new A19 chip, promising enhanced performance and efficiency.

Apple is also expected to announce updates to other products, including the Apple Watch and AirPods. The upcoming iOS 26 update may bring AI-powered features to the iPhone 17 series, adding smarter user experiences and functionality.

Waiting for confirmation
Apple has not yet officially confirmed the launch date, but insiders expect the announcement before the end of August. Until then, speculation about features, design, and performance will continue to circulate. For now, the accidental Apple TV post gives the clearest hint yet at when fans can expect to see the new iPhone series unveiled.
