New Delhi: Kirloskar Industries Limited (KIL) has appointed George Verghese as its Managing Director for a five-year term starting May 21, 2025, subject to shareholder approval, the company announced on Tuesday.
Verghese, who joined the Kirloskar Group in 2021, currently serves as CHRO and Chief of Staff at Kirloskar Oil Engines. He was part of the core team that led a strategic business turnaround at the company. His previous roles include leadership positions at Dell, Reliance Communications, and Cummins, with experience spanning business operations, HR, strategy, and marketing.
Atul Kirloskar, Chairman of the Board, said in a statement: “George has worked with various companies within the Group and has deep experience in business strategy, operational execution, leadership, HR transformation, marketing, and culture, all of which will be useful for Kirloskar Industries.”
Verghese holds a master’s degree in management from XLRI Jamshedpur and an engineering degree from the College of Engineering, Munnar.
