Kaal Bhairav Jayanti 2025: The appearance day of Lord Kaal Bhairav, the fierce form of Lord Shiva, is celebrated on the Ashtami Tithi of the Krishna Paksha (dark fortnight) of the month of Margashirsha. This day is called Kaal Bhairav Ashtami or Kaal Bhairav Jayanti. According to scriptures, Lord Shiva assumed the form of Kaal Bhairav to remove Brahma's ego and eradicate unrighteousness from the world. Devotees who worship Bhairav Baba with devotion and proper rituals on this day are relieved of fear, disease, enemies, and negative forces. A few simple measures taken on this day ensure the blessings of Lord Kaal Bhairav remain with you forever.

Bath Bhairav Baba with water mixed with water, milk, honey, and perfume in a copper vessel. Doing so completes stalled tasks in life and strengthens the financial situation.

Black sesame seeds and vermilion are considered dear to Bhairav. Offering these seeds calms the effects of planetary influences, especially those of Saturn and Rahu, and enhances one's fortune.

Feeding a needy person, saint, or beggar on this day is a key means of attaining Bhairav's blessings. This practice provides relief from ancestral curses and financial problems.
