Singer and Bigg Boss 14 fame Rahul Vaidya slammed the fans of former Team India skipper Virat Kohli for abusing him and his family after he called the cricketer a “joker”. It all began after Rahul expressed his dislike for the Royal Challengers Bengaluru player on social media.
On Monday, Rahul took to his Instagram handle and wrote in his stories: “Virat Kohli’s fans are even bigger jokers than Virat! (sic)”. This did not sit well with the Kohli’s fans and they bashed the singer for his choice of words.

Later, Rahul put up another story on Instagram, which read, “And now u r abusing me that's fine but u r abusing my wife my sister.. who have nothing to do with this! So I was right that's why you all Virat kohli fans are jokers! 2 kaudi ke jokers (sic).”
While Rahul did not reveal the reason behind his angst against Kohli, netizens supported him over his stance that his family should not be abused for his views.

Meanwhile, Kohli made headlines recently after he ‘liked’ a picture of actress Avneet Kaur shared by her fanpage on Instagram, and to top it, also issued a statement clarifying the same.
“I'd like clarify that while clearing my feed, it appears the algorithm may have mistakenly registered an interaction. There was absolutely no intent behind it. I request that no unnecessary assumptions be made. Thank you for your understanding (sic),” he stated.

But Kohli’s one mistaken move turned out to be a jackpot for Avneet, who gained almost 2 million followers in a couple of days and even bagged 12 brand endorsements. She has, however, not commented on the chatter yet.
