Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister and Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan accidentally forgot his wife, Sadhana Singh, at an event in Junagadh on Sunday.
After attending a program at the Peanut Research Center, Chouhan left for Rajkot in a convoy of 22 vehicles. However, about a kilometer into the journey, he realised his wife was not in the convoy.
The vehicles quickly took a U-turn and returned to the venue, where Sadhana Singh was still waiting in the lounge.
The incident left many amused and added a light-hearted twist to the day’s political engagements.
Union minister Shivraj was on a religious and official tour of Gujarat with his wife.
After visiting Somnath Jyotirlinga and Gir Singhdarshan, there was a dialogue program with farmers and women associated with the 'Lakhpati Didi' scheme at the Peanut Research Center on Saturday. He had to catch a flight from Rajkot at 8 pm and was in a hurry due to the bad road.

He himself said on the mike- “The road to Rajkot is bad, next time I will come leisurely.” He cut short his speech and quickly left with the convoy. On the other hand, Sadhna had returned after visiting Girnar and was sitting in the waiting room.
Shivraj realised that his wife was not with him. Then he contacted her on the phone. After this he returned with the convoy and left for Rajkot with his wife.
