Police said that five people, including the director of DL Public School of Rasgwan and three teachers, have been arrested in the witchcraft case. It is being told that a few months ago also an unsuccessful attempt was made to sacrifice a child. According to the Times of India report, the police said that the child was sacrificed in a ritual aimed at bringing fame and success to the school.

Police have identified the accused as school director Dinesh Baghel, his father Jashodhan Singh and teachers Laxman Singh, Veerpal Singh and Ramprakash Solanki. According to the report, Jashodhan Singh, who believed in witchcraft, told his son and teachers that sacrificing a child of the school would bring great success to the school. After which this incident was carried out.

Around 600 students study in this school and there is also a hostel facility for younger children. It is being told that the sacrificed child also lived in this hostel. The child's father is a software engineer in Delhi. The child, who studied in class 2, was found unconscious on his hostel bed on Monday. Instead of reporting the incident, the school staff tried to hide the murder, the child's body was being taken away in his car before the police intervened.
