Let us tell you that two RPF constables Javed Khan and Pramod Kumar were murdered late night on 19 August in Ghazipur. Zahid was involved in this.

The police were looking for him. Police received information that the accused was in Ghazipur area. He was surrounded. He started firing at the police. Retaliatory action was taken.

A joint team of UP STF's Noida unit GRP Dildar Nagar and Ghazipur police killed him in Gopalpur village, Dildar Nagar police station. One miscreant escaped during the encounter.

Several cases of kidnapping, assault and liquor smuggling are registered against Zahid. During the encounter, two police head constables were also injured by bullets. They are being treated at CHC Bhadaura.

How did these murders happen?

On the late night of August 19, two RPF constables, Javed Khan and Pramod, were trying to stop the smuggling of illicit liquor in train no. 15631 Barmer Guwahati Express, when the liquor smugglers threw both the constables off the moving train.

Both of them died. Zahid was absconding in this case. In this case, the police have arrested Premchand Verma, Vinay, Pankaj, Bilendra Pasi, Ravi Kumar and Ravi. The seventh accused Zahid was killed in an encounter.
