Gethin Jones couldn't contain his enthusiasm on Morning Live this Tuesday (6 May) when he announced that co-host Michelle Ackerley had some wonderful news to share.
As the show kicked off, Gethin turned to Michelle exclaiming: "You've got some news that you wanted to share, and it's amazing."
With a glowing smile, Michelle announced: "I have actually, yes. I am four months pregnant!".

The studio erupted in congratulations for Michelle, heralding the reveal as "great news" and celebrating with cheers.
Continuing with excitement, Michelle added: "I still can't quite believe it myself, really! Very, very happy."
Gethin shared that Michelle's husband Ben has been taking the news "very calmly," with Michelle agreeing that he's "very chilled" about the impending new arrival.
Probing further, Gethin asked: "But, you've found a way of getting him prepared for what's to come, haven't you Michelle?" This led Michelle to share her unique preparation method.
Laughing, she explained: "The thing is, I'm not really sleeping at the moment. I've been waking up in the middle of the night at 3am, and then I've taken it upon myself to wake Ben up and be like 'See, this is what we're going to have to get used to!'"
She continued to jest: "No sleep, so let's just have a conversation in the middle of the night and see what it's like. We need to be prepared!"
Michelle also took to to announce her pregnancy joy, posting a carousel of pictures including memories from her and husband Ben's wedding last year, reports .
She candidly shared her struggles with endometriosis and expressed to her followers that becoming pregnant was a "massive surprise" for both her and Ben, acknowledging that the experience has been quite an "emotional rollercoaster".
"The news of falling pregnant really came as a massive surprise to both of us. We still can't quite believe it," she admitted in her heartfelt announcement. "And so in October, the start of a new chapter begins for @benryan7s and I, albeit with nervous and cautious excitement."
Michelle and Ben, who share a home in London, tied the knot in May 2024 after their engagement in 2022. Ben has carved out his career in sports as a coach and performances director at Brentford FC.
