CBB's JoJo Siwa says 'I'm not a lesbian' after flirty friendship with Chris Hughes

star, , revealed she no longer identifies as a lesbian during a candid chat on the show on Tuesday. The former self-confessed 'Gay CEO of pop', 21, who is dating actor, Kath Ebbs, confided in Drag Race star,, about her sexuality in a shock admission following her flirty friendship in the house with , 32.

After previously telling her housemates: "I like girls", prompting a vile homophobic response from now axed contestant, Mickey Rourke, JoJo told Danny: "I feel so queer. I've never - I think I've always told myself, I'm a lesbian. I think you - I think being here - I've realised I am not a lesbian, I’m queer."

The reality star continued: "And I think that's really cool, I'm switching letters! I've dropped the L and I've gone to the Q baby! That's what I love about sexuality."

After hugging the Nobody Can Change Me! star, Danny - who identifies as non-binary and uses the pronouns they/them - joked: "And you know what British people love more than anything? To queue!"

LGBTQ charity Stonewall defines 'queer' as 'a term used by those wanting to reject specific labels of sexual orientation and/or gender identity'.

JoJo came out as pansexual in 2021, but has described herself as gay in recent interviews. Speaking on Paul C Brunson's podcast, We Need To Talk, shortly before entering the house she admitted she was still on a "journey", explaining: "One I'm still on for sure. I never thought twice about anything."

The plucky star from Nebraska, who shot to fame on Dance Moms, featuring the formidable coach Abbie Lee Miller, has confused some fans over her flirty friendship with star, Chris.

From the get-go, the pair have been very tactile towards one another, prompting some housemates to accuse them of ignoring the rest of the group - and others to suggest they are 'playing a game'.

When Daley Thompson was evicted he suggested they knew that by 'pairing up' they would 'get more airtime'. Agreeing with the Olympian, now axed contestant, Ella Rae Wise, accused Chris of forming a friendship with mega star, JoJo, to further his own career.

She said the American star's 80 million plus social media following would "massively help" the Love Islander, however Chris slammed the suggestion, adding it was really sad" that he couldn't be friends with who he wanted in the house.

Breaking down in the Diary Room after Jack P Shepherd told him about Ella's suspicions, he told Big Brother: "I'm exhausted in this house to be honest. I think I'm too normal and lead a stress free life. If people have things to say just say it and air it."

Chris added: "I hate toxic stuff in life. I hate toxic energy. It just brings you down. You can feel when energy shifts and it's just not nice. I don't want to be emotional and sad but sometimes you just can't help it."
