Fears for Britney Spears as she 'snaps her legs' and is covered in bruises

Britney Spears has concerned her fans as she admitted to "snapping" her legs after falling down the stairs. The pop icon, 43, often takes to Instagram to upload clips of her dancing at home.

However, her latest post caught the attention of fansas she had a knee support covering on her leg. She danced in a shimmering mini dress with feathered hem but also had white bandages on her hands.

Britney revealed her sons Sean Preston and Jayden James had just left to go to their home in Maui with dad Kevin Federline and shared how dance lets her feel free.

Alongside the post, the Baby hitmaker wrote: "This is the way I express myself and pray through art … father who art in heaven … I’m not here for concern or pity, I just want to be a good woman and be better … and I do have wonderful support, so have a brilliant day !!!"

In a concerning update, Britney added: "Psss I fell down the stairs at my friend’s house … it was horrible … it snaps out now and then, not sure if it’s broken but for now it’s snapped in !!!Thank u god."

A large bruise could be seen on her wrist as well as smaller bruises along her arm and body. Just an hour later, Britney returned to Instagram in a leopard print bodysuit for more dance routines.

She said: "As Madonna says, express yourself don’t repress yourself." The fears for Britney comefour years after her conservatorship, which had begun in 2008, was terminated in the wake of the online "Free Britney" movement.

While fans joyfully celebrated the singer's emancipation from her father Jamie Spears, who had filed for the arrangement in court to take charge of his daughter's legal and personal affairs, some supporters have been worried all is not well for Britney.

Last month, Britney sparked concern with a series of eye-popping snaps as she appeared to be totally naked. Another clip showed her dancing erratically on a boat – to a song featuring her ex-boyfriend Justin Timberlake’s vocals.

Britney later apologised for “showing my ass” in her nude shot, adding: “Sometimes u have to embarrass yourself to remember who u are, I can’t believe I did it either!!!”

Another clip showed the star at home, singing Rihanna ’s Unfaithful and adopting a British accent, with what looked like dog mess on the floor in the background.

Addressing fan concerns, a showbiz expert claimed to the Mirror it could be a case of “make or break” for Britney. “Fans are right to feel worried,” said PR guru Mayah Riaz.

“Britney has grown up under the world ’s microscope and there are two very different paths. She could build a quieter, healthier life if she gets support, or she could spiral further, which will invite more negative attention. Essentially, Britney’s future hangs on who she lets into her world. Her circle will either make or break her.”
