Few people know how to nail the art of being both on trend and timeless at the same time quite like Frankie Bridge does. The presenter is known for her eternally chic outfits, which strike just the right balance of hitting a trend whilst still being wearable for years to come, and her latest co-ord is no exception.
Frankie shared a snap of herself wearing Mango’s Striped Straight Suit Trousers (£45.99) and the matching Buttons Striped Top (£35.99) on Instagram, and fans immediately went wild for it. “So many sensational outfits, my style icon” wrote one, whilst another said: “Absolutely love this outfit!”

Currently the trousers are still available in all sizes from a six to a 14, however the stripe top is now out of stock on the Mango website. Don’t despair, though, because our fashion sleuthing skills have tracked it down at Very, where it’s still available in sizes small, medium and large.
The pinstripe co-ord is the perfect choice for summer, and you can wear it absolutely anywhere from a summer wedding to the office to brunch. A simple accessory swap will take it from day to night, and its fitted, tailored silhouette gives it an instantly sophisticated, smart look.
Its linen blend material also keeps it breathable and comfortable in the summer heat, but as it’s not pure linen you won’t need to worry as much about creasing and crumpling. We’re also a big fan of the lime green shade, which has a punchier, bolder impact than the butter yellow trend, and is more universally flattering on all skin tones.
The Striped Straight Suit Trousers have a relaxed, wide leg fit with tailored darts around the waist, whilst the waistcoat-style Buttons Striped Top has an adjustable tie at the back to cinch in the waist for a flattering fit. The top also flares out over the hips, helping accentuate your figure and creating an hourglass silhouette.
We also spotted some other great alternatives on the high street, with Roman’s Lime Dusk Waist Coat (£32) and Elasticated Waist Wide Leg Trouser (£35) offering a similar silhouette with a slightly more relaxed, causal fit. For a slightly more elegant look, ASOS’ Premium Ponte Halter Neck Top (£26) and the matching Premium Ponte Barrel Leg Trouser (£30) have a tailored design that’s perfect for evenings out.
However if you want to copy Frankie’s ‘sensational’ co-ord, you can bag the Striped Straight Suit Trousers directly from Mango, and the Buttons Striped Top at Very now.
