Nelly Furtado let her t.shirt do the talking this weekend as she continued to celebrate her incredible new look. The I'm Like a Bird star, 46, has been showing off her fabulous figure with pride in recent months for her epic tour, but that hasn't stopped some vile trolls from criticising her appearance on social media, with one sniping: "OMG! What has happened to Nelly Furtado?"
However, putting the keyboard clan firmly in their place, the iconic singer had an incredible response as she rocked up at Manchester Prideon Sunday, sporting a 'skinny' optical illusion t.shirt.
Appearing to make a jibe about how she 'should' look, Nelly opted for the top with a cartoon figure, who wears a cropped white vest, which showed off a cinched waist, along with a short mini skirt with a belt ,which spelt out the words 'Whoa Nelly'.

The reverse of the top featured a woman's back, sporting a 'Better Than Ever' tattoo, which is a nod to Nelly's 2024 single of the same name. The multicoloured boots the singer was wearing also featured the same message.
The star completed her look with her raven hair braided into a long plait and saucy fishnet stockings and black underwear, which she proudly revealed as she flashed her bum to the excitable crowd.
Nelly, who first gained fame with her trip hop-inspired debut studio album, Whoa, Nelly! in 2000 has been praised for her candid comments concerning body positivity recently.

In February, she sent fans into a frenzy with a gorgeous bikini snap as she revealed the tricks of the trade celebrity makeup artists use for awards shows and red carpets.
She captioned the photo: "HAVE A BODY NEUTRAL 2025, BUT MOST IMPORTANTLY, LOVE WITH EVERY INCH OF YOUR HEART THANKS FOR ALL THE MEMORIES THIS YEAR.
"This year I became aware of the aesthetic pressure of my work in a brand new way, while simultaneously I experienced new levels of self love and genuine confidence from within."

The Maneater star also revealed she had been forced to take legal action against some "charlatans" online who were "selling services based on selling health and beauty myths about me".
She went on to insist that she's never had any "face or body surgeries or augmentation, besides for veneers on the top row of my teeth, quite recently".
Instead her age-defying dewy skin comes from, she says, "a loving, old school facialist who I purchase serums and creams from and I started that when I was 20".
