Petty Elon Musk hits back at Donald Trump over trade war after DOGE snub

has finally hit back at after the US President found time to snub the bosses government department DOGE amid his trade war. Trump shared a telling comment about in Washington after reports the Commander-in-chief told his cabinet the Starlink boss would soon step back.

Talking to Italy's far right politician Matteo Salvini, Musk added: "If people wish to work in Europe or wish to work in North America, they should be allowed to do so in my view." Musk also noted it "has certainly been my advice to the president".

The Tesla boss also launched an attack on Trump's trade adviser Peter Navarro, who is believed to be the architect behind these controversial tariffs, on Saturday. Musk fumed on X and wrote: "A PhD in Econ from Harvard is a bad thing, not a good thing. Results in the ego/brains>>1 problem."

The billionaire also responded to another X user's comment and wrote: "He ain't built s**t." Petty Musk has appeared to publicly go against his beloved Trump for the first time after the President's policy directly affected his billionaire pockets.

The President also suggested the controversial DOGE could be wiped from the US government without Musk, adding: "At a certain point I think it will end."

A senior White House official previously revealed the businessman had a tendency to bypass government channels and described his leadership as "erratic and disruptive".

Recent reports even suggested Musk had recently had a bust up with Secretary of State Marco Rubio.
