TV presenter Stacey Solomon shared a message to her younger self earlier this week. It included her writing about people having said that she was "on a road to failure" as a teenager and how her life has turned out since then.
Stacey, 35, who rose to fame on the X Factor in 2009, has told fans on Instagram that she was written off as not being "smart enough" or "strong enough" when she was younger. She also referenced having become a parent when she was 18, with her eldest child Zachary, now 17, born in 2008.
She went on to write about her success, including as a business partner in haircare brand REHAB, founded by Vicky Ellis and Anastasia Tozer. The brand is on FEBE's Growth 100 list for 2025 and the trio celebrated the achievement at an awards ceremony recently. Addressing those who didn't believe in her growing up, Stacey said at the end of her message: "Those people couldn't have been more wrong."

The post included photos of Stacey, Vicky, and Anastasia at the event. It also included photos of the Loose Women star in a photoshoot for jewellery brand Abbott Lyon, which Stacey shared on Instagram yesterday.
Stacey wrote in the caption of the post: "A letter to teenage me. One day you'll be a teenage mum and there will be people who tell you that you're on a road to failure, that you're not smart enough, that you aren't strong enough, you don't speak well enough, you aren't talented enough …"
She continued: "But then one day you will own the 2nd fastest growing company in the UK. @rehabyourhair (ad) With two boss women who started off with a dream & a garage to work out of. Today got my beautiful babies ready for school, then headed off to shoot a campaign with a brand I LOVE @abbottlyon (ad) and then drove straight to the awards ceremony to celebrate our company becoming the Second fastest growing company in the country."
Concluding it, she wrote: "A day like this I could have never even dreamed of growing up. And so many people told me it wouldn't be possible. Never let anyone set your limits for you. Those people couldn't have been more wrong."
The post was met with supportive messages from fans. Stacey's sister Jemma Solomon also reacted in the comments section. Sharing her support, Jemma wrote to her sibling as part of her response to her: "Forever proud."
Jemma continued by writing in her comment to Stacey: "Never underestimate the girl who wore boots to college with a mouse inside that ran out of them shutting the whole department down!!! [laughing emoji] because that girl has SMASHED every part of life one step at a time!"
She went on to tell Stacey to enjoy where she has ended up. Jemma wrote at the end of her comment: "Now enjoy the seeds you have sewn, it's time for you to breathe and relax a little now you deserve it so much ... or not because we both know sitting still is not one of our strong points."
Alongside laughing emojis, Stacey later replied to her sister: "paaaaaahahahahahhaha why would you expose me like this." She added: "I love you so much."
Someone else wrote in their response to Stacey's letter: "Incredible. One of the hardest working woman I know. You deserve it all and more." Another person reacted to the post to her younger self this week: "She would never believe the adventure she would be on! You should feel so proud."
