Bilari Kotwali Police of Moradabad district of Uttar Pradesh has solved a case of blind murder. In this case, the mystery of the murder of 19-year-old Sonu has been revealed.
After a thorough investigation, the police traced the killers and arrested IIT student Mehnaz, her brother Saddam, and their friend Rizwan for Sonu's murder. When the police asked Mehnaz about her conversation with Sonu, she initially denied it. However, after rigorous interrogation, Mehnaz confessed her crime to the police.
Sabir, a resident of the Bilari area of Moradabad, had informed the police that his son Sonu had left home on his bike and had not returned since then. His mobile was also switched off. The police immediately registered a missing person's report and started looking for Sonu. Two days later, a headless body was found in a field in the Saifni police station area of Rampur district. The police called Sonu's family to identify the body. The family identified the headless body as Sonu.
The police investigated the case thoroughly and recovered the call detail record (CDR) of Sonu's mobile phone. Investigation revealed that Sonu's last conversation was with a girl named Mehnaz. When the police wanted to interrogate Mehnaz, at first she denied having any conversation with Sonu. But when she was taken into custody and interrogated, Mehnaz spilled the beans and revealed the murder plot.
Mehnaz said that she met Sonu while going to college. Sonu secretly captured some of her pictures on his mobile phone. After this, he kept blackmailing her and pressuring her to meet him again and again. When the problem increased, Mehnaz told to her brother Saddam. Saddam along with his friend made a plan to teach Sonu a lesson and called Sonu to meet on 9 September.
Saddam and his friends called Sonu to Saifni Road as part of the conspiracy. When Sonu reached there, Mahnaz took him to a sugarcane field, where Saddam and his friends came from behind and made Sonu fall to the ground. They tied him with a rope and slit his throat with a knife. After this, they put Sonu's clothes, slippers, and head in a bag and threw them in the trenching ground of Saifni town. After this, he burnt all the items with petrol to destroy the evidence and fled from the spot.
