Ahead of the Bihar assembly elections, TV9 Bharatvarsh hosted the Satta Sammelan Bihar event in Patna on July 11, where Bhojpuri superstar Pawan Singh participated amid the election buzz. During the conference, Pawan Singh opened up about his early days and shared a special memory about his first-ever song.
Born in Kolkata, Pawan Singh developed a passion for singing from a very young age. He told the audience at the Satta Sammelan that as a child, people often asked him to sing and even offered money, which he happily accepted. His uncle, a renowned Bhojpuri singer and Pawan’s mentor, played a crucial role in shaping his musical journey.
Pawan recalled that when people heard his voice, they suggested that his uncle should let him sing. Eventually, his uncle agreed, and Pawan sang his debut song at the tender age of six. The lyrics of that first song were “Chhod da police ke naukaron gharwa aa ja raja ji…”
The power star also expressed deep gratitude towards his uncle, calling him his guru. He shared how he grew up listening to Munna Singh’s songs and even performed “Chhod Da Police Ke Naukaron Gharwa Aa Ja Raja Ji…” live on the TV9 stage, saying, “I got my uncle’s blessings, and whatever I am today is because of him.”
