Jr NTR, Janhvi Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan starrer 'Devra: Part 1' made a big noise with its release in theatres on September 27. However, after a great opening at the box office, its collections saw a rapid decline. Still, the film was appreciated by the audience for its brilliant cinematography, grand sets and VFX. Now, the film is going to be released on OTT, so that those who could not watch it in theatres will be able to enjoy the film at home.
When and where will it be released on OTT?: According to media reports, for those who have missed 'Devra: Part 1' in theaters, there is good news that this film will be available on Netflix from November 8. Netflix has acquired the digital rights of this film in all languages, so viewers will be able to watch it in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam.
Performance of 'Devra: Part 1' at the box office: It was expected that 'Devra: Part 1' would create a new record at the box office. The film had a tremendous opening of around Rs 74 crores in all languages. But the film's earnings started declining from the first day itself, and it did not live up to expectations. Its total collection so far has been around Rs 343 crores, which is considered an average business.
Jr NTR's reaction: This film was Jr NTR's first big release after 'RRR', and he is a little disappointed with the lack of good response to it. He also held the audience responsible for the performance of this film. Now NTR is turning to Bollywood and will soon be seen in 'War 2' with Hrithik Roshan and Kiara Advani.
