Mumbai, India – As World Heart Day approaches, actress and certified nutritionist Bhagyashree is actively promoting awareness about heart health challenges in India. Speaking at an event in Indore, she addressed both medical professionals and the general public, stressing the importance of balanced nutrition, positive thinking, and preventive care for heart health.

In an interview, Bhagyashree emphasized the need for a holistic approach to a healthy lifestyle. “Staying happy and maintaining a positive outlook is essential. View life’s challenges as God’s way of making you stronger,” she advised, underscoring the mental aspect of overall well-being.

She also highlighted the critical role of nutrition in maintaining heart health. "It's not just about working out; what you eat matters just as much. Are you paying attention to your nutritional needs?" she asked. Bhagyashree pointed out that a balanced diet involves more than just focusing on proteins and carbs. "Healthy fats, like ghee, are often avoided because people think they're unhealthy, but these fats are essential for the body," she explained.

Bhagyashree noted that many people struggle to find the right balance in their diet, which can affect overall health. “Listening to your body is key. Over-exercising without proper nutrition won't make you healthy,” she said.

Addressing the growing concern of heart attacks among the youth, she stressed the importance of managing stress by balancing work and personal life. "Hard work isn't new, but it’s crucial to maintain a balance. Overworking without breaks leads to stress, which impacts heart health,” she advised.

World Heart Day, observed on September 29, aims to raise awareness about cardiovascular health and encourage people to make heart-healthy choices. The day promotes prevention through education, better nutrition, regular exercise, and routine health check-ups, inspiring everyone to prioritize their heart health for a better quality of life.
