fans are abuzz with speculation that Jack Branning, played by Scott Maslen, might enter a romance with an unexpected character.

In the recent plotlines of the One drama, Penny Branning, portrayed by Kitty Castledine, has been growing close to fresh face Harry Mitchell, enacted by Elijah Holloway; much to her father Jack's disapproval.

Attempting to split Penny and Harry apart, Jack, who is a detective, discovered troubling accusations that Harry allegedly caused his ex-girlfriend to disappear after a heated argument.

After Harry shared his version of events about Shireen's vanishing act, Penny was persuaded of his innocence.

However, tensions rose when Jack assaulted Harry in public, and the incident was caught on camera by young Tommy Moon (Sonny Kendall), reports .
