Swedish hopefuls KAJ, comprised of Kevin Holmström, Axel Åhman, and Jakob Norrgård, are currently favourites to win the contest. This is despite the fact they still have to make it out of their semi-final on Tuesday May 13 with their song Bara Bada Bastu (which translates as Let's Just Sauna). However, speaking exclusively to ahead of the recent Eurovision Party they admitted they were surprised to even be there as they were the underdogs in the Melodifestivalen, which selects contestants for the show in .
"Well we came in as such underdogs in Melodifestivalen and winning it was such a great victory for us. So just competing in the Eurovision and OK, we're high in the odds, so it's easy to say that we feel a bit safe that we're not going to finish last, last. But who knows? We haven't really let this nervousness get to us," they said.
Sweden obviously have a huge history with the contest, thanks in no small part to the legendary , who won the 1974 editiion with Waterloo, kick starting their amazing career.
Björn Ulvaeus took to social media to pay tribute to the trio following their selection and they admit they found that "mind blowing".
Speaking about the clip which saw him enjoying a sauna and offering congratulations they said: "That was amazing. He's such a legend. It's mind blowing."
The competition has been more of a whirlwind for them than most as theirs was the last song selected before the preparations kicked off.

Asked how their Eurovision experience has been they admit is has been "overwhelming" how their song has captured the public's imagaination.
"There's so much positivity since winning. Sweden was one of the last countries to like finish the finals so it was straight to business.
"Everything has been going really fast, so you don't have time to stop and wonder," they said.
Sweden are currently favourite across all betting platforms to win the contest.
