Hoover sale cuts £100 off cordless vacuum and mop with 'impressive dirt pick up'

Pet owners will know the task of dealing with odours and cleaning up shedding pet hair, often found in the most random places. One busy mom has branded their new Hoover product as their 'new helper', saying it is also a time saver that helps suck up pet and children's hair.

The Hoover Cordless Vacuum Cleaner & Mop With Anti Hair Wrap, Blue - HF4 Hydro Pet model is reduced to £219 online, a £100 saving from the full price of £319. For this price, cleaning enthusiasts get the Hoover Cordless Vacuum Cleaner with Anti Hair Wrap Combination Floorhead, and this model also comes with the Hydro nozzle.

It also has an integrated water tank on top, and three mop pads underneath, so shoppers can either vacuum or mop, depending on the cleaning needed. The mop's vibrating triangular pad gets into corners, while two rotating round pads work on stuck-on dust and dirt, cleaning floors thoroughly.

To start mopping, detergent is added to the water tank, and a button is pressed. There's also a foot pedal that controls the amount of water released. When done, the mop pads can be popped into the washing machine for a clean.

If it's a thorough cordless vacuum that is needed, this model is designed to make light work of hard floors, rugs and carpets too, thanks to the All Floor nozzle attachment. It has anti-hair wrap, so hair should not get twisted around the roller and interrupt cleaning. Shoppers in the market for a standard vacuum at the lower end of the market could look at the Bissell Featherweight Corded Bagless Upright Vacuum Cleaner from Argos, which costs £40. This has a 4.4 out of five star rating from users, weighs 2.05kg and has a five metre powercord.

For something closer to the Hoover offering, Shark VacMop 2-in-1 Cordless Vacuum Mop with Targeted Spray VM200UK is £99.99 direct from them online. It offers two-in-one vacuuming and spray mopping, with disposable pads to use on hard floors. Weighing 1.5kg it comes with six disposable VacMop pads and a 355ml bottle of cleaning solution.

Customers who have bought the Hoover option have described this product as 'impressive' and as their 'new professional cleaning assistant'. One five-star reviewer said: "An impressive bit of kit that picks up dirt really well on hard floors and carpet alike. Unlike our plug in upright vacuum this only picks up on the forward movement. The HF4 is super manoeuvrable and not too heavy."

Another shopper said: "Meet my new helper. This Hoover can be used for multipurpose operations, so for me, as a busy mom, it's a time saver.
