Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's 'Humanitarians of the Year' award has been questioned after failing to do one major thing. The couple stepped out at Project Healthy Minds' World Mental Health Day Gala on October 9.
The loved-up couple arrived hand-in-hand as they were recognised for their efforts for mental health advocacy. Meghan, 44, and Harry, 41, were also praised for their extensive global mental health work during the World Mental Health Day Gala at Spring Studios.
The couple have previously deemed their work in building a safer digital world for families and young people was inspired by their children - Prince Archie, six, and Princess Lilibet, four.
But speaking on The Sun's Royal Exclusive Show, royal expert Phil Dampier said: "It does make me laugh when they get these humanitarian awards."
Explaining further, he revealed that he questions their integrity in receiving the award due to having not reconciled with both of their families, including King Charles and Meghan's estranged father, Thomas Markle.
Mr Dampier added: "They can't even make peace with their own families.
"She won't even see her own father and yet they are held up as these great philanthropists and humanitarians."

Thomas, 81, has been estranged from his daughter since 2018 - the same year that she married Prince Harry and officially joined the Royal Family.
Thomas was absent from Meghan and Harry's fairytale wedding due to having suffered two heart attacks prior to the big day. Meghan no longer speaks to her father after Thomas got caught up in a staged photo scandal after it was alleged he arranged a photo shoot with a paparazzi agency to change his public image.
Harry and Meghan have also experienced strained relationship with the royals for some time, in particular King Charles and Prince William.
