The "most entertaining 90s soap" is now streaming for free in the UK as fans say "I love it".
Created by EastEnders co-creator Tony Holland, the sun-soaked British soap Eldorado was based in the fictional town of Los Barcos on Spain's Costa Eldorado.
The show only ran for one year from 1992 to 1993, and followed the lives of a group of British and European expats, who enjoyed sunnier climes that were reminiscent to Home and Away and Neighbours.
Eldorado featured several recognisable faces from other popular British soaps, including Hollyoaks star Jesse Birdsall and EastEnders actors Polly Perkins and Derek Martin.
The series enjoyed repeat airings on UK Gold from 1995 to 1996, and again in 2002. A selection of episodes later popped up on BritBox and ITVX in 2021, reports Surrey Live.
Now, over three decades since its debut, the show made its return on U&Drama earlier this year, with British viewers treated to two episodes daily until the concluding segment aired last month.
There are now 155 episodes of the show that are available to stream for free on the U service (formerly UKTV Play), which doesn't require a subscription or a TV Licence.
However, there's one episode missing from the line-up. The 50th instalment wasn't aired in the re-runs and therefore isn't available on U.
The channel previously explained on X (formerly Twitter) that the episode "was not made available to us", and said it was "sorry to disappoint".
Despite receiving lukewarm reviews, the series has garnered a loyal fan base with many expressing their fondness on social media over the years.
"Was it cheesy? Was it ridiculous? Yes! But I still loved this show very much indeed, what you may call a guilty pleasure," confessed one person on IMDb.
Echoing the sentiment, another said: "I love it! If only it was given a chance, it still could be on air - imagine that! But I am pleased that there are re runs, a cult classic for sure."
A third fan stated: "It's the most entertaining soap! The characters were well thought out and yet it didn't get too bogged down with overly serious plots that modern soaps rely on. It's a fantastic show."
