Delhi to Stay Dry Until September 25, Rain Likely to Return and Strengthen: Check 7-Day IMD Forecast

New Delhi: There will be no rain in the national capital on Sunday, said the India Meteorological Department (IMD). According to the met department, there will be a partly cloud sky with the maximum temperature at 36 degrees Celsius. The trend of no-rain is expected to continue for a few more days. Thereafter, Delhi will witness several rounds of rain spells from September 25. It is also likely to intensify from there on. Earlier, the excessive had caused waterlogging at several locations across the capital, especially in the low-lying areas that disrupted the daily lives of Delhiites.

Here’s the 7-Day Weather Forecast:- On September 21, the temperature will range from 25 degrees Celsius to 36 degrees Celsius, with a partly cloudy sky.- On September 22, the temperature will range from 25 degrees Celsius to 36 degrees Celsius, and the sky will remain partly cloudy.- On September 23, expect a minimum temperature of 25 degrees Celsius and a maximum of 36 degrees Celsius, with partly cloudy skies.- On September 24, the weather will be partly cloudy, with temperatures between 26 degrees Celsius and 36 degrees Celsius.- On September 25, the temperature will range from 26 degrees Celsius to 34 degrees Celsius, with generally cloudy skies and light rain or drizzle.- On September 26, expect temperatures between 26 degrees Celsius and 33 degrees Celsius, with rain or thundershowers.- On September 27, the weather will continue with rain or thundershowers, and temperatures between 25 degrees Celsius and 33 degrees Celsius. Delhi Waterlogging On September 22, the prominent ITO Junction submerged in water after Delhi was battered by continuous rainfall. The weather changes occurred due to an active western disturbance. This left commuters to face waterlogging issues, making it risker for them to navigate through roads that were filled with potholes.
