Denied Car Keys, 15-Year-Old Stabs Father To Death With Kitchen Knife

New Delhi: A 15-year-old boy stabbed his father to death after he refused to give him keys to the family car at their home in Bulandshahr. Four family members, including the accused's mother, were present at the house at the time.The victim has been identified as Praveen Kumar, a 42-year-old head constable with the vigilance department of the UP police. Praveen Kumar had recently been transferred to Bulandshahr from Agra, reported Times of India.The boy stabbed Praveen in the chest and abdomen despite his mother's intervention to stop him. "He died while being taken to a hospital in Noida. The minor has been apprehended and a case of murder has been registered against him," said SP (City) Shanker Prasad, according to Times of India.The boy was their only child.Family members said that the boy often stayed out late with his friends and used the car without permission. The boy's was reported to be close to his family, but in the past few months, his behaviour changed suddenly.
