Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah (TMKOC) actor Gurucharan Singh has been missing for a week now. On a daily basis, new updates and speculations keep floating around. It is said that the actor left Delhi on April 22, 2024, and was headed back to Mumbai. On April 26, 2024, Gurucharan's father filed a complaint about his missing son.

TMKOC cast and crew members are worried for the actor's safety. Previously, Palak Sindhwani, who played the role of Sonu in the show, shared about her last conversation with the actor. Now Sodhi's reel son, Samay Shah, who played Junior Sodhi, was seen talking about his recent conversation with the actor.

Samay talks about his last conversation

Sharing about his chat with Gurucharan, Samay shared how he was always motivated during a conversation they had a few months ago. He also said the actor was working on his Punjabi film.

Samay took a walk down memory lane as he shared about his conversation with Singh and how well they bonded while talking to Indian Express. Revisiting their conversation, he shared, “I spoke with him 4 to 5 months ago over the phone. The conversation went on for an hour or more, and he kept motivating me. We spoke about running with dreams. I was missing him a lot, especially as we were not working together anymore and we were reminiscing.”

While there are many reports that suggest that Sodhi was suffering from depression, Samay has a different opinion. He said, “He was happy when we spoke. I still cannot believe that people are saying he was depressed. He is not that kind of person, but then you cannot predict how human consciousness works sometimes. Whenever we spoke, he was very kind and sweet; he was keeping alright, and he would continuously check on me. I don’t think he was depressed. However, we never had the kind of conversations he would have with his parents or friends. I was like a son to him.”

Samay on Gurucharan's new project

Sharing details from their last conversations, Samay talked about what Gurucharan was doing on the professional front. Samay shared, “He had a lot of things planned, both in life and career. Whenever we spoke, I would keep asking him about what was going on in his life. He was working on a Punjabi film, but I don’t have a clear picture because he is someone who likes to give surprises."

Continuing further, Samay shared how he was excited and curious for Gurucharan's next venture. He said, "I was both excited and curious to know what he was up to. I am not sure, but the movie was called GCS. I think he was also working on an app. I think he will be back very soon.”

Talking about his reel father, Samay also shared the fondest memory of Gurucharan. He shared, “When I was very small, he would give me ‘khatti meethi’, which were kisses on both my cheeks. He would play a lot with me, and when he is around children, he also becomes a kid.” The last time Samay met Gurucharan was at Dilip Joshi’s (Jeethalal) son’s reception.
