Jo Exits DXMON Following 4-Month Hiatus, K-pop Group To Continue With Five Members

Jo has parted ways with DXMON. The K-pop idol, who had been on a hiatus for almost four months, left the group due to health issues.

Jo parts ways with DXMON On September 29, DXMON's label H MUSIC Entertainment announced Jo's exit from the rookie group. The label released an official statement that read, "Jo recently took a break due to health reasons, and after in-depth discussions with us, he has decided to end his activities with DXMON."

H MUSIC Entertainment further added, "DXMON will be promoting as a five-member group going forward, and we ask that you continue to send your warm support to Jo as he walks his new path. We would like to thank all the fans who have always loved DXMON. Thank you." Following Jo's exit, the boy group will be continuing with Seita, Minjae, Hee, TK and Rex. "Today, DXMON Minjae and Jo felt abnormal symptoms in the morning and immediately went to the hospital. According to the doctor's recommendation for rest and stability, all schedules have been immediately suspended, and they're currently resting," the label stated. About DXMONDXMON debuted as a six-member group under H Music Entertainment on January 17, 2024, with the mini album Hyperspace. In May, the group made a comeback with their first single album Hyperspace 911. Girls, Love Boys, Love Girls served as the single album's title track. This was their final release with member Jo.
