Bollywood superstar Salman Khan's close friend, NCP leader and former MLA from Bandra West, Baba Siddique, was brutally murdered in Mumbai on Saturday. The Lawrence Bishnoi gang, known for its longstanding rivalry with Salman Khan due to the 1998 blackbuck killing incident, claimed responsibility for the murder. In the wake of this incident and the serious threats to the superstar, his security has been increased. Amidst this, an old video of Salman Khan's nemesis, Vivek Oberoi, praising the Bishnoi community has gone viral.Vivek Oberoi's Old Video Praising Bishnoi Community Goes ViralIn the viral clip, which is reportedly from an event held in Dubai last year, Vivek can be heard saying, "In every household, including mine, we feed cow's milk to kids. There's only one community in the whole world - the Bishnoi community - where if a fawn's mother dies, the Bishnoi mothers take it in their laps and feed them milk like they feed their kids. You won't find this anywhere else in the world."
The video has not gone down well with Salman's fans. Baba Siddique Murder CaseThe politician, who had close ties with Bollywood celebrities, was shot dead outside his son Zeeshan Siddique's office in Mumbai's Bandra East. He was declared dead at Lilavati Hospital. Hours after the shocking news, Salman Khan abandoned his professional commitments and rushed to be with the grieving family. He was also seen paying his last respects to his close friend at the funeral. Salman appeared visibly shaken as he left Baba's residence before the namaaz-e-janaza.On the same day, the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, which has threatened to kill Salman, took responsibility for the killing.A Facebook post read: "Om Jai Shri Ram, Jai Bharat. The essence of life is understood. We treat the body and wealth like dust. Whatever we did, we did it as a righteous act. We upheld the duty of friendship. Salman Khan, we did not want this war, but you harmed our brother. The Baba Siddique being praised today was once involved with Dawood in MCOCA cases. He was killed because he linked Bollywood, politics, and property dealings with Anuj Thapan and Dawood Ibrahim."We have no enmity with anyone. But whoever helps Salman Khan and the Dawood gang should prepare their accounts. If any of our friends are harmed, we will respond. We never strike the first blow. Jai Shri Ram, Jai Bharat. Salute to the martyrs."Yeh kamina #VivekOberoi bhi kam responsible nahi hai Bishnoi community ke logo ko uksaane ke liye.
