Denver Broncos wide receiver Josh Reynolds was injured in a shooting in Denver after being stalked from a strip club. The Denver Police reported that they arrested two suspects in the case. The suspects have been identified as Burr Charlesworth and Luis Mendoza. Based on court documents obtained by 9NEWS, Mendoza was seen entering the strip club after midnight, as seen in a video from the club. The suspect, Mendoza kept an eye on the victims instead of engaging with the entertainers, the documents reported. Soon after the victims left, Mendoza began to follow them. Another suspect Charlesworth denied firing at the victims and said that gunshots came from other vehicles. According to the court documents, he refrained from describing the vehicles. He also told the investigators that he was "helping" a friend who had asked him to stalk the victims because of a fight. The shooting took place on October 18, when the victims reported that they were being chased by two vehicles shortly after they left the strip club in Glendale, according to the documents. Among the victims was Josh Reynolds. He was shot twice. He sustained injuries in his left arm and in the back of his head, as per the court documents. The Denver Broncos player is currently not playing matches due to an injured finger. He was also absent from the Broncos match in New Orleans last Thursday, October 17.
