Nagpur: A remarkable achievement by The Jain International School (JIS) team has earned them a coveted spot in the national competition of the Macmillan Budding Scientist Award. Comprising Akshit Jagam, Yayati Gurharikar, and Akshat Mahule (all students of Std VIII), the team stood out among 680 entries to become one of the top eight teams from the West Zone of India.
The talented trio was invited to participate in the regional round held at IIT Bombay. The esteemed jury members, all professors from IIT Bombay, were impressed with the team's exceptional performance. They lauded the students for their impressive responses and their exemplary teamwork. JIS team secured the first prize, emerging as the winner from the West Zone.
As a result, the team represented the school at the National Level competition at IIT Delhi where the team got a special mention from the jury members.
School management and principal Anmol Mukherjee congratulated the team on their stellar performance.
