Ranchi: The appointment committee of the Union cabinet has empanelled four IPS officers of the state for holding inspector general (IG) rank or equivalent rank under the Union govt. An order issued by ministry of home affairs said IGs Amol Homkar and Prabhat Kumar of 2004 batch, Kuldeep Dwiwedi of 2005 batch and Anoop Bitharay of 2007 batch were the empanelled officers. These officers would be posted as IGs when they go for central deputation. TNN
