In support of the Delhi Government ’s ‘ Delhi Ko Koode Se Azadi ’ – Swachhata Abhiyan , ITL Public School , Dwarka rolled out a day-long cleanliness and awareness drive that inspired both students and the local community to work towards a litter-free, greener capital.
The campaign opened with a Swachhata Pledge by all students and teachers, followed by impactful performances including a nukkad natak, mime acts and student-made podcasts highlighting the dangers of littering and the importance of responsible waste management.
Students took their message beyond the campus, participating in cleanliness drives in nearby markets and neighbourhoods. A cultural programme featuring the song Swachhta Hi Seva and a fusion dance further celebrated the spirit of the campaign.
Principal Dr. Sudha Acharya stressed that true swachhata involves both physical cleanliness and responsible citizenship, urging everyone to “take the onus” in maintaining a clean environment .
The initiative, covered by the CMO media team and Gunjta Bharat news channel, positioned ITL Public School students as ambassadors of change for a garbage-free Delhi.
