There's been a lot of talk about Priyanka Chopra Jonas possibly starring in Allu Arjun and director Atlee’s new film, tentatively titled ‘A6’. While many fans were thrilled at the thought of seeing Priyanka in the South Indian spectacle, a report has now confirmed that there’s no truth to the gossip. This clears up any confusion about her involvement.

A Pinkvilla report mentioned, “Priyanka Chopra Jonas was never in talks for the Allu Arjun starrer. Interestingly, she was being considered for a completely different project that paired her with Salman Khan under Atlee’s direction. But that film is no longer in development.”

What’s ‘A6’ all about?
‘A6’ is one of the most talked-about upcoming films in the South Indian film industry. It's described as a parallel reality action-drama, promising to be a genre-bending spectacle. One of the most exciting things about the film is that Allu Arjun will be playing a dual role for the first time in his career.

Atlee, known for big hits like ‘Mersal’, ‘Bigil’, and ‘Jawan’, is aiming to create a unique cinematic universe with ‘A6’. He wants to take Indian storytelling to a global level by creating a high-concept world that blends emotion, action, and fantasy. Production is set to start in August 2025, and fans are eagerly waiting for more details.

Priyanka Chopra's other projects
Even though PeeCee isn't part of ‘A6’, she has some exciting projects lined up. She's set to star in ‘SSMB29’, an epic adventure directed by SS Rajamouli, who made ‘Baahubali’ and ‘RRR’. In ‘SSMB29’, Priyanka will star alongside Mahesh Babu and Malayalam superstar Prithviraj Sukumaran. The film is already being called a “visually groundbreaking cinematic event” due to its ambitious scale and cast.
