Connor McDavid’s wife, Lauren Kyle, has not provided any update on her husband’s health yet. The star player sustained an injury on 20th March at the match against the Winnipeg Jets and has not been able to play in any matches since then.

Hours before the match between the Edmonton Oilers and the Vegas Golden Knights, Connor McDavid was spotted participating in a practice session in Vegas wearing a no contact jersey. But he has not been able to get back on the ice yet.

Recently, Edmonton Oilers’ coach, Kris Knoblauch spoke about how the Oilers have been managing without the captain of their team.

He said, “Whoever we play in the playoffs, whatever round it is, it's going to be a tight checking game…and we're going to get our chances we need to defend because it's going to be hard to score.”

Kris Knoblauch added, “You know, as for our team, I think guys stepped up without the few games that we played without Leon and Connor."

While Leon Draisaitl was able to come back after missing four matches, unfortunately, the star player sustained a lower body injury again. However, it seems like this injury is not severe since as per Elliotte Friedman, Kris Knoblauch has confirmed that Leon Draisaitl will be out “short term”.

However, fans are still awaiting Connor McDavid’s return to the ice as he is expected to be back before the regular season ends.
