Nike Air Max 270 MLB City Connect sneakers release date revealed with epic surprise

Nike is launching a new line of sneakers just in time for baseball season . The company has teamed up with Major League Baseball to provide the Air Max 270 City Connect Collection . This exclusive line of shoes is for nine team fans. Each shoe aligns with the City Connect jerseys that reflect the style and heritage of each city. These vibrant sneakers will be out on June 6, 2025, and will retail at $160 per pair in men's sizes.

The City Connect Collection features nine MLB teams' shoes. Each of the Air Max 270 sneakers sports the same color scheme and city connectivity as the team's City Connect jerseys. Each Air Max 270 kick is made to represent the unique culture and history surrounding the team and the city where the team is based.


Materials used to make the shoes include open mesh, plastic components (TPU), and soft synthetic materials.. They're streamlined, breathy, and ideal for everyday wear.





There is the MLB logo at the tongue and City Connect logo at the heel on both shoes. There are smaller pieces on the insole for each team. The foam sole contains Nike's classic Air Max 270 bubble and a matching rubber bottom.

  • Dodgers: Coconut Milk, Chile Red, and Thunder Blue
  • Red Sox: White, Bicoastal, and Yellow
  • Giants: Black, White, and Electro Orange
  • Marlins: White, Black, and Hyper Pink

Release date and where to buy these MLB-themed Air Max 270s

All nine models of the City Connect Collection will launch on June 6, 2025. They are priced at $160 a pair and only come in men's sizes. You can find them on Nike's website and select sneaker stores both online and in-store.
